Coaching Young People in Dance
Lucy is continuing research in this area based on processes and methods developed whilst she was Programme Manager at the Centre for Advanced Training, The Place. In 2012 her aim is to bring together a training package for dance professionals which will cover key areas in understanding how to facilitate young person's aspirations in dance - helping them identify, plan and stay on track though conversation and resources.

Some of this research has been through CPD earlier on in the Autumn term at DanceXchange, with students at Generation 2 (see below) and with students at Dance East Academy where 95% of them felt more empowered to take responsibility for their training after Lucy's session.

Lucy will also be developing her own services in this area this year. Please check back for updates.
